OM601 Clinical Case Studies

A presentation and an in-depth study of cases attended by interns. This course provides interns an opportunity to meet and discuss patient cases with fellow clinical interns and faculty with an emphasis on diagnosis, integrated analysis of clinical experiences, and clinical options as well as outcomes. Review of cases includes discussion of diagnostic and treatment decisions. Additional topics in these case based reviews include relevant contraindications, complications (including drug and herb interactions), continuity of care, referral, collaboration, follow-up care, final review, prognosis as well as future medical care recommendations.
