WM212 Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry

This course is a general introduction of organic compounds and chemical structures of organic compounds and biochemical reactions in living systems. This course will examine basic cellular biology, metabolism, and the structure and function of carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids that are essential to understanding of the chemical dynamics of physiology, nutrition, pharmacology and herbology are also discussed.
