Prerequisites: WM340, WM350, WM401-404, WM450

This course is the first of three Western Clinical Medicine courses series and is a prerequisite for the remaining courses in the series. This course presents an overview of selected common diseases observed and treated in biomedicine. This course examines etiology, pathogenesis, differential diagnosis and treatment principles of infectious disease, sexually transmitted disease, gastrointestinal disease, hematological disease, liver – biliary tract and pancreatic disease, malignant disease, and rheumatology and bone disease.
