WM340 Western Pharmacology

Prerequisites: WM212, two from WM401-404

This course will introduce the basic concepts and pharmacological principles of western pharmaceuticals and their major categories. This course will examine pharmacological distribution, metabolism, excretion, and the mechanisms of drugs therapeutic effects on the human body. This course will emphasize on general principles that can be applied broadly to groups or categories of medications.
