Prof. Doris Johnson received her bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Barbara and a master’s Degree from UCLA before continuing her training as an acupuncturist. She received her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine degree from Yo San University in 1998.

Prof. Johnson is passionate about Chinese herbal medicine and nutrition, and enthusiastically imparts this passion both in her private practice, as well as with students and interns. A practitioner of Tai Chi Chuan, she uses this and other forms of movement in her holistic practices and teachings.

Prof. Johnson is currently a supervisor in the clinic and is currently teaching Herbology classes.
