Dr. Marinpong received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine degree from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand in 2003. She practiced as a veterinarian in Thailand for over 6 years prior to obtaining her Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree with honors from South Baylo University in Los Angeles, California in 2012. Since then, she has been working at South Baylo University as an instructor in Oriental medicine, Acupuncture and Herbology classes. She also has an extensive experience in teaching preparation courses for California Acupuncture Board Examination.

Dr. Marinpong is currently teaching Oriental medicine and Acupuncture classes at Wongu.
